Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Memoiry, run by Memoiry ("we"). By creating an account you agree to them. They should be reviewed by a lawyer before you rely on them.
The service
Memoiry lets you record periods and events of your life, write diaries, place them on a map, keep music with them, share a timeline with friends and, on the Plus plan, map your memories with AI. We may change or discontinue features, and we will give notice inside the app when a change matters.
Your account
You must be 16 or older. Keep your password private and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. Your username is chosen once and cannot be changed; your display name can.
One account per person. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Your content
Everything you write stays yours. You grant us only the license needed to store it, show it back to you and show it to the friends or people you choose to share with. We never use your content for advertising or to train AI models.
You are responsible for your content. Do not upload anything unlawful, anything that infringes someone else's rights, or personal data about others that you have no right to share.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access other people's data, to disrupt the service, to circumvent plan limits or abuse limits, or to use automated tools to scrape it. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
Plans and payment
Memoiry has a Free plan and a Plus plan. Paid plans are not yet available. When they are introduced, the price, billing period, cancellation and refund terms will be shown to you before you buy, and those terms will apply to that purchase. Nothing in the Free plan will start costing money without your explicit agreement.
AI features
AI extraction is an optional Plus feature that you switch on yourself. Its output is generated automatically and may be wrong; check it before relying on it. See the Privacy Policy for what is sent and to whom.
Availability and warranty
Memoiry is provided as is. We work to keep it available and to keep your data safe, including daily backups, but we do not promise uninterrupted service or that it will be free of errors. Export your data whenever you want a copy.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury or fraud.
Ending the agreement
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We can close your account if you break these terms, after telling you why unless the law prevents it. On closure your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Netherlands. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country they live in, and may bring claims in their own courts.
